There are many schools; why should you choose The College of Health and Fitness?
Hi guys, my name’s Tony. I’m the owner of The College of Health and Fitness. I often get asked “why study at The College of Health and Fitness, what makes the College of Health and Fitness different from every other training college?”
There are a couple of reasons. First, we’ve been established since 2002, I’ve owned the college since 2002 and we’ve been running the college continuously since that point in time. We are a small RTO and we actually care about our students.
All of our classes are capped at a maximum of 15 students per class. So if you want a course where you’re immersed within the topic, you’re part of a very small group of students and you’re with instructors and trainers that care about you graduating, about you completing the course, about you understanding the material, then we’re the college for you.
Second, I’m actually also a Level 3 strengthening and conditioning coach, a Level 2 altitude coach, an exercise physiologist and a sports and exercise nutritionist. With my set of combination of qualifications I’m the only person in the world with this particular skill set, and that’s evident and comes through within the course material that we develop, and in the material that our trainers teach you.
You’re provided with cutting-edge technology, you’re provided with cutting-edge information. I’m also currently doing my PhD in exercise nutrition and also in strength and conditioning. So the information that’s coming through my research that’s also then fed down into our courses and so you’re getting the most up-to-date information.
Third reason why you should study here is, I’m also the co-author of the “Certificate IV in Fitness” book. Now that text book is published by CENGAGE and it’s in its third edition. The book that we use is used by a significant number of other training providers.
So where would you rather train? Would you rather train with the RTO that has written and developed the material, who is using the cutting-edge information in developing this curriculum or would you rather train somewhere where they’re interpreting what we know and what we’re writing about and what we’re teaching you?
When looking at a course selection you need to go to a college or an RTO where you feel comfortable that the material and the presenters are adequate. They’re working in the industry, they have experience and they care about your end results. All of our trainers here are currently working in the industry, all of our trainers have a minimum, and I said minimum of five years experience working within their particular industry, as well as teaching for us.
So ask yourself this question, “Would you rather train at some where it’s small, boutique, who cares about you or would you rather just be another number?“
