Language, Literacy & Numeracy
COURSE OVERVIEW
The Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) courses give you the key skills needed to go about our daily lives. Whilst it is easy to take the LLN skills for granted, it is sometimes required to have that extra support to get that new job or take on further studies. So, to assist you in these situations, COHAF offers three different LLN qualifications that are designed to both support and prepare you for accessing further educational and employment opportunities. These courses are designed to provide pathways into vocational training such as core language, literacy and numeracy skills that wouldn’t otherwise be available.

HOW LONG DOES A LLN CERTIFICATE TAKE?
These Language, Literacy, and Numeracy Certificates are completed online at your own pace. They generally take around 11 weeks each to finish, however this is a self-paced learning opportunity, so you can choose how much or little time you would like to spend on them. You will receive all of the units through the online learning platform at the start of the program, so you can go through them in any order you wish.
These vocational pathways certificates can be completed on their own, but many of our students choose to complete one alongside another course. This gives them the chance to improve their skills while working towards their vocational study of choice. If you are completing one of these certificates alongside another course of study, it may take you longer to complete.
WILL I GET A JOB?
These Language, Literacy, and Numeracy Certificates are designed to make you more employable and get you ready to study your chosen vocation. At the end of these courses, most of our students continue on to more study before looking for a job.
